Lucky Lucky Me!

So yesterday morning I get wind that a New York based B & B company is closing it's doors and wants to sell off it's supplies, like pronto. Not being one to miss out on a bargain, I make the necessary phone calls, send emails and eagerly await a response from the owner of said business. Within the hour I was chatting with a lovely lady who informed me that they had loads to offer and for me to come down there. Brooklyn is 1.5 hours away by car and I absolutely DETEST driving in New York, but for some oils and lye I'd drive to Hades and back. I jump in my car at around 1:30pm and hit the road by myself. Somehow the husband and kid didn't find a day in New York too appealling and opted to go to the movies instead during my absence **shrugs shoulders**
The owner didn't want to have to pay storage fees for another month so I was encouraged to take as much as my little car could carry. Now bear in mind that these buckets of oils and lye are 50lb each! I also scored a TON of fragrance and essential oils. Some of which I'd been wanting to try for a long time but cost didn't permit. (see pic - those larger bottles are 2lb each)
Anywho, I got such a GREAT deal on my oils and lye that I couldn't get home fast enough to show off my booty. I'd love to tell you how much I paid for it all but I was sworn to secrecy. All I can say is I got the sale of the century.
All you patchouli lovers out there - watch out cos I'm now ARMED and DANGEROUS!!!!

Do you know if they have anything left?! I live in Manhattan and would definitely head over to Brooklyn for deals like that!

Candice - I don't think there's anything left. I was the last person to show up to buy and she wanted to get everything out of there that day. Whatever may have been left probably got thrown out. There was still palm oil and cases and cases of glasses for candle making - nice ones too!
