Brand New off the Milk Cart

Here's my newly listed Lilac Blossoms - another one of my milky creations. I've never been into florals especially lilacs simply because it's always reminded me of my old piano teacher when I was a kid. Viola Abrahams was her name and just the thought of her weekend wrath was enough to have me practicing every night of the week right up until lessons on Saturday mornings......the memories makes me shudder!

Anywho, I've digressed once again, so here's my lovely milky lilac blossoms that actually smells quite lovely. She's made with whole milk just like her sister Rose (see a couple posts down). Ain't she purdy?

Looks like wonderful soap! I couldn't eat tuna for the longest time because it reminded me of my piano teacher..Mr. Minlarsky! Very nice man but had tuna breath every practice!

I've ordered one of these, and can hardly wait :-)

We had lilac bushes outside my family home when I was growing up, so for me the scent is very wistful and sweet, redolent of springtime returning after a hard winter. (Not at all old-ladyish!)

Hi, my name is Sharon and I am addicted to soap...after recently closing my antique shop I am eager to stay home and make soaps again. Visiting your blog and the Soap Bar has renewed my love of natural and handmade soaps, they are also starting to sell well again...so, needless to say I am anxious to play in the gruel. I will be visiting often checking out what's up. I'm so glad I found you and as the flood waters recede here in Iowa, I just have to make a soap to dedicate to the Muddy Mississippi...there is always a bright side to life...
