Well, look what the cat dragged in...

....that's right. Saturday morning I woke up to find my Mojo had come back to me. Not one to miss an opportunity, I quickly snatched it up and put it to work immediately before it had the chance to disappear again.

Here's what I worked on Saturday. Sunday I made 4 more batches (totaling 24lbs of soap). I feel whole again!

I'll post pics of the other 4 batches later.

Hi Kelly - I just use a skewer or anything with a sharp end and make swirly patterns on the top once it's in the mold. It's very very easy. If the soap is not thick enough to make noticeable swirls, I'll let it site for 30 minutes 1st, then I'll do the swirls before I place it in the oven. Hope that helps!!

I am a soaper from Arkansas and I have been looking at your lovely creations! I see that you use a skewer to make your indentions on the top...but do you let each log cure in the oven? How long and on what temp? I think I have read that you bring the oven to 170, turn it off and then let the soap sit. Can you use the soap right away? Thanks for any info you could spare..E.
