Proof that I LOVE my customers....

Anyone that knows me well, knows that I flat out refuse to drive in snow. It petrifies me!! Even rain is enough to de-rail my plans. As soon as they mention snow on the weather - I'm locking the doors and windows and counting how many cans of non-perishables we have in the pantry.

So this morning, I woke up to the white stuff EVERYWHERE! I was in trouble because I had packages that absolutely HAD to go out today. I decided to pull on my big girl panties and do what I had to do. Even though the roads were treacherous and I was shaking like a leaf the entire time, I drove to the post office and made it back home in one piece. I saw cars spinning out and stuck cars, but I managed to keep it moving in one direction (OK so I have 4 wheel drive but so what?) I'm so proud of myself!!

I even took a picture of my tire tracks in the driveway as proof that I DID IT!!!

lol. It's great that you did it. I feel the same as you. I refuse to drive in ice or snow or rain. I had a scary accident when I was pregnant in the ice so I'm terrified of driving in bad weather.

Good for you. I know exactly how you feel. I was so grateful that I had nowhere to go yesterday. It feels great to be scared and do it anyway, doesn't it?

Bravo!
...but Europeans are such wimps about snow, you are not alone! Here in Germany, three snowflakes and people are already driving like old ladies with bad eyesight! But maybe they just love their cars so much? Dunno, but I guess better safe then sorry! I am proud of you for overcoming your fears and "national disability"! Three cheers for Morganstreet the Fearless!

I live in Florida, so I just know id die if I ever had to drive in snow or on ice. And thankfully I love right across the street from the post office... walking distance. Which is great because I have no car right now =/

The courage that resides in all of us, sometimes deeply, comes to the surface when we most need it - and so often surprises the heck out of us!

I imagine that your customers are as happy with your "delivery" as you are surprised by it?
