I've never been fond of favoritism

...yet I just can't help myself in this situation. Yes, I'm guilty.

Of all the cakes, loaves and cupcakes I've made thus far, this one is my favorite. It's the only one that I made using this color combination and it smells nothing like it looks. Chocolate on the bottom and black raspberry vanilla frosting with "green" sprinkles.

It somehow reminds me of The Grinch & Cat in the Hat all rolled into one. I haven't listed it on Etsy probably because I don't want to sell it, but I know as soon as I take it out of hiding one of my face to face customers is going to snap it right up.

I suppose I could always make another one right?

I heart cupcakes, and this one ranks on the top of my list! Is the frosting hard or soft?

Hi Patrice - the frosting is also CP soap so it's hard. They're a bunch of fun to make!
Hi, I just dropped by your blog and have had to add you to my favourites list. A lovely blog you have here. I'm enjoying the read and the wonderful pics.

I absolutely love that cupcake! It's gorgeous. The colour combo is particularly fetching.

Obscure note: pink and green (along with a dash of white) are the main colours of Hinamatsuri, a.k.a. "Girls' Day", in Japan ... a cheerful springtime festival that is held on March 3. See also these Hinamatsuri sweets.
